Decided to start one of my photography goals this year. And that goal was to travel solo and take photos wherever I went.
Woke up 4.30 AM in the morning and got everything ready. Set the trip to leave at 5 AM and get there by 7 AM. Got some Maccas breakfast first to make sure I was awake for the 1.5 - 2 hr drive.
Reason why I left so early is because I wanted to try and catch sunrise at Cape Schank in Mornington Peninsula.
Finally arrived at the carpark. Good thing there was only 3 or 4 car/vans there.
As soon as I got there I immediately grabbed my bag and went on my way.
First stop was the lighthouse to catch some quick views as the sun wasnt up yet. I couldn't really tell because of how cloudy it was.
After the lighthouse I went on my way to hike to the beach to get a better shot of "sunrise".
Honestly blue hour is so nice to look because of how calming it is to look at.
On my way to the beach, I saw some other people getting some sunrise shots on top of the hill. Props to them for getting there so early and getting some nice shots of sunrise. I wonder if they were taking photos or taking a timelaps of sunrise, who knows.
Got to a nice spot where it had a clear view of the sunrise. Decided to take some self shots while I was there.
I must say, it was...AESTHETIC.
After enjoying the view for about an hour, I decided to walk around the beach to get more views. Sadly I didnt take photos of it because it was too rocky and I was scared to lose my footing and I didn't want to drop my camera.
So heres a nice photo of Pulpit Rock where the sun was hitting it just right for that AESTHETIC shot.
After some further hiking decided to head back to the carpark and head to my next destination.
Oh btw, here's Part II of the trip.
